Family Fun Time!Homemade Playdoh
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
1 Tbs cream of tartar
1 Tbs oil
food coloring
Put all ingredients into a pot and cook over low heat stirring constantly. Remove from the pot and knead until well blended.

Dear Parents,
Next week is Catholic Schools Week! There will be many fun activities during the week that the children will take part in. You received a schedule from the office listing each day's activities.
For TUESDAY please have your child dress in BLUE and for WEDNESDAY please have them dress in RED.
Otherwise in class we will be having a Laura Numeroff author study. She wrote the books "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" and "If You Take a Mouse to School" books. We will be reading her books, retelling and sequencing them and doing a craft for each one.
In Religion we will be reading the book "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" It tells the children that their act of kindness will fill an imaginary bucket or acts of unkindness will empty it. They will feel happy if it is full and unhappy when it is empty.
Our Letter of the week is 0.
There is an early dismissal day (11:00 am) on Friday.

There is so much fun and learning waiting for your child to experience!
This will be a fun and exciting year as your child prepares for Kindergarten. We will be learning about letters, numbers, shapes, colors, seasons, holidays, animals, community helpers, fire safety, nutrition, life cycles of a butterfly and frog, insects, dinosaurs, do STEM activites and so much more!
