Boys Basketball (Grades 6-8)

For Grades 6-8, HNOM's boys basketball team offers students a competitive, but friendly, atmosphere to build athletic skills, learn and apply sports jargon, and understand the importance of sportsmanship and being a team player.

With practices led by Coach Waszak and Assistant Coach Mirville in the school gymnasium to prepare for home and away games, teammates focus on mastering core skills (i.e. dribbling, rebounding, passing), working together as a cohesive unit on the court in various plays (i.e. zone defense, full-court presses), and exercising sportsmanship with each other even in the face of fouls and airballs.
