Welcome to the wonderful world of first grade!

First grade is such an exciting time for your child.  As the children explore the world of reading and writing they continue to develop their love of learning.  It is my hope that we will work together to instill good work habits,  problem solving and decision-making skills and of course academic skills.  During the course of the year, the children will  have the opportunity to complete many fun projects as well as grow their love of learning in Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies in a safe environment where we recognize that each of us is a child of God and should be treated with kindness and respect.

It is my pleasure to be joining you and your child on this journey through First Grade.  I know that this will be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all of us.  I will work  hard to make our classroom a place where your children will feel happy and safe.   I look forward to learning with your child and sharing curriculum that is enriching and sparks their interest.
